Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 13 March 2025
Effective for: MyMarketHQ — https://mymarkethq.com
Our commitment
MyMarketHQ is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience and applying the relevant accessibility standards so that our website is accessible to the widest possible audience.
Standards and compliance
We aim to conform to the requirements of the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and to meet the Israeli standard IS 5568 for web accessibility, which is aligned with WCAG 2.0 Level AA where applicable.
Measures we take
- Semantic structure: We use semantic HTML (headings, landmarks, lists) so that assistive technologies can navigate the site.
- Keyboard and focus: All main functionality can be operated via keyboard. We provide a skip link (“Skip to main content”) at the top of each page so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass repeated navigation. Focus is visible (e.g. outline) when moving through interactive elements.
- ARIA and labels: We use ARIA attributes and
aria-labelwhere needed for dynamic content, modals, buttons, and controls (e.g. cart, search, filters, sliders) so that screen readers can announce them correctly. - Forms: Form fields are associated with labels or have accessible names. Error messages and success feedback are announced (e.g.
aria-live). - Motion: We respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting: we reduce or disable non-essential animations (e.g. carousel auto-advance, scroll reveals) when the user has requested reduced motion. - Colour and contrast: We design with sufficient colour contrast for text and interactive elements. We do not rely on colour alone to convey information.
- Responsive layout: The site is responsive and can be zoomed; we avoid horizontal scrolling and support text resizing where possible.
Known limitations and improvements
We are aware that some third-party content (e.g. embedded widgets or scripts) may not fully meet our accessibility targets. We work with our providers to improve this where we can. If you encounter a part of the site that is not accessible, please tell us (see below).
